Helping to build a home in Cambodia for a less fortunate family with VBC was an unforgettable and awarding experience for me. It only took 3 days which was incredible. Every other day of the trip was exploring temples, other activities in Cambodia, eating delicious food at restaurants recommended and enjoying some free time at our resort. I enjoyed every minute of the trip. Thanks Mr Sinn!

Volunteer Building Cambodia (VBC) is an amazing organization that is making a real difference in the lives of poor Cambodian families. I've been supporting and volunteering with VBC since 2017, and I've been consistently impressed by the professionalism, integrity, and dedication of the entire team. Volunteering with VBC is an experience that I highly recommend to everyone.

I have volunteered with VBC 3 times now, one month in 2015 then a week in 2017, and most recently 2 weeks in 2023. I am so pleased to see the growth that has happened since I first started, despite covid and the issues it has caused everyone. But with our continued support and new volunteers and donators VBC will continue to be able to support the local community in very positive ways.

Here at VBC, I see that even small things can have a lasting impact on people's lives. The people's hospitality is just amazing and overwhelming. So I thank you very much for the opportunity to spend some more time with you again. I always have the feeling that what is done here is so much more important then many things that bother us day by day in the Western world. After years of following VBC on social media and seeing the amazing work they do I was finally able to contribute to a family in need by sponsoring a house build. I have travelled to Cambodia twice now in my life and I'm blown away by the generosity and kindness of the local people. Working with the VBC team has been a highlight of my life as they are truly making people's lives better. I will endeavour to raise more awareness about the organisation and hopefully return to contribute more to a country and people that are truly wonderful”.

I would highly recommend volunteering with Volunteer Building Cambodia as this is likely to be a lifechanging experience, one to remember for the rest of your life. It was wonderful to be working in such beautiful surroundings and getting to know every member of the family who were moving in, mum, dad and three kids. When the project was finished I felt this was the highlight of my life so far, I couldn’t have wished for a greater experience. The time spent with the family encouraged me to start my own tour company, Paul’s Alternative Tours, so other visitors to Cambodia Volunteer Building Cambodia don’t just finish a house and walk away, they carry on helping the families afterwards with ongoing maintenance. After ten years I am still in regular contact with Mr Sinn and look forward to supporting Volunteer Building Cambodia for many years to come.
